Did Dana White pay his bet?
White allegedly made a verbal bet with Snoop Dogg on the Paul vs. Askren fight, but when asked about it earlier this week, White said he owed him no money. “I can tell you this: I don’t owe Snoop $2 million. I never bet,” White told Yahoo! Sports on Monday.
Did Snoop Dogg get 2 million dollars?
This past Saturday after YouTube star Jake Paul TKO’d ex-UFC fighter Ben Askren in their Triller Fight Club boxing match, Snoop Dogg, who commentated the bout, immediately yelled on the broadcast about White owing him $2 million because of an alleged bet in which White took Askren to defeat Paul.
Did Snoop really bet 2 million?
No, he did not, apparently. Dana White appeared on Bill Simmons’ BS Podcast for The Ringer this week and addressed the rumor that he lost a huge bet to Snoop Dogg. And he made it clear there’s no truth to it. “I really did not,” White said when Simmons asked if he actually lost $2 million to Snoop Dogg.
Why are UFC fighters paid so little?
The big part of why they’re underpaid is because that’s how business works. The UFC is looking to make money and underpaying fighters is one way to save money and give that money to the fat cats at the top. It’s all no different than what boxing promoters do. They also underpay fighters and screw everyone out of money.
